The track record of RINOpublican Supreme Court Justices hasn’t been very good. Spotty at best.

I don’t think any change is coming out of the Republicans. It MAY come from the States. It may not come.

And don’t be discouraged.

Liberals feed on it.

Will there even be a next POTUS election?

I will be voting Republican in the hopes of such a ruling.

In most elections the Republican candidate is also listed on the Conservative line. I vote for the Conservative, effectively voting for the Republican, but sending the Conservative message.

Good post.

I noticed that you said “I will be voting Republican...” without an qualifications. That makes many here - including me - a bit uncomfortable, But I think you are on the right track.

Liberals fight in the primaries, then come together in the general election. They support any nominee with a (D) after the name.

Many conservatives are not like that. They stay home if the nominee fails certain litmus tests. I totally get that, and respect that. I've done it myself.

But make no mistake about it. The MSM and the handout crowd give any democrat a huge starting advantage. Unless conservatives can get behind the GOP nominee (whoever that is, and as distasteful as that might be), there will be no more GOP presidents. Future Supreme Court appointees will all be versions of Sonya Sotomayor.

Who put Kennedy in place? Oh, that’s right: the RINO I was told to “hold my nose and pull the lever” for.

Nope.

So you’re saying, once again vote for whomever the GOP pins a rose on, whomever it is?
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, thrice ...

Not a chance, FRiend. (But don’t worry. The RINO dud will again be picked before my state’s primary.)

The Republican Party has had every chance nationally. Since 2010 we have elected those who kept telling us they would Draw the Line in make Dirt and make things right.

What have they done, NOTHING AND I MEAN NOTHING. All we have had is a lot of talk and no action. Once again today the idiots tell us they are going to do something in light of the USSC ruling but don't hold your breath.

The Republicans have two of the absolute worst leaders i have seen, McConnell and Boehner are despicable and have no shame, instead of stopping bad ideas and legislation, they cheer it on and pass it willingly. Both have abandoned their responsibilities and whatever principles they once had to the detriment of the country. Both Parties have become Morally and Ethically Corrupt and have sold us, the people, down the road to ruin. I may finally give up the concept of Voting in another Federal Election.

We need two. One to offset Kennedy, and one to offset Roberts.

I will NOT vote for RINOs or "ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS"
If either winds up on the General Ballot, I WILL vote AGAINST THEM, PERIOD.

I'll take out (vote AGAINST) an "ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICAN" every time I get an opportunity to, and that INCLUDES the GENERAL ELECTION.

You got it?

"ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS"SHALL NOT PASS !

It's SIMPLE.

Well, voting Republican could be a slower road to a totalitarian socialist state, but there is very little guarantee of that. And, frankly, it’s not likely to be a lot slower, either.

RNC response to todays ruling:

In a message released immediately after the ruling, Reince Priebus mildly criticized the ruling while acknowledging its ”finality;” struck a magnanimous note, confirming that the GOP “[respects] those on the winning side of the case” and remains “committed to finding common ground”.

A Libertarian talk show host, Jim Vicevich, on WTIC radio Hartford, CT this morning, mentioned that b/c of the SCOTUS decision, it should follow that if there are no longer any *states’ rights*....then all lawful gun owners should be able to carry in any state in the {former] Union; if states can’t ban gay marriages, then they can’t ban licensed gun owners to carry in their states

I like the sound of this. I hope this is eventually challenged. God help us all.
