I’m not even American, but the way your country has been heading is getting to me as well. I think it’s seeing how stupid people have become. Not only stupid, but immoral and disgusting. I don’t watch the news like I used to, I only check on of FR, Drudge and Breitbart. Even then, I am so sick from what I hear, I just want to move to the farm, help my daughter and son-in-law raise their 3 kids and help out as much as I can.

Its sometimes good to spend time away praying meditating and so on. I like to get away from here for some time outs myself, but not a complete time out.
We all seem to know how the new world order wants to rule the planet but they screw up so much they will never get the job done at least not while Christians are on the planet.
We are of the same frame of mind. However, as things worsen it will be good to have a forum to glean info and ideas from other like-minded folks. I will remain here, although I see the political handwriting on the wall.
Unfortunately, I now see clearly that it is over for the US. The constitution has no meaning and we are essentially under mob rule. There is no party to turn to and all the politicians are in collusion to game the system. I think we have reached a stage where this is all going to unravel economically and socially much faster than most people think.
IF (big if) you are correct with regards to your second paragraph, then why are you losing focus on your first paragraph? Yes, there are indeed a "great variety of topics" to discuss here at FR. And they do not all deal with the social and economical illnesses you speak of. Learn to ignore and pass over the (many) threads out there that you know will only serve to push your buttons. (I'm saying this for my benefit as well).
Case in point (for me) is these stupid Confederate Flag stories. Has the whole dam country (and FR) suddenly gone ape-bleepy over the Stars and Bars? WHO CARES? I ignore them. Tomorrow there will be a new and different "crisis". Try and learn to keep a proper perspective on what is truly important, and ignore the drivel.
