Was the myth of Mut-em-ua -- a virgin birth of Egyptian mythology that precedes Christianity by 2000 years -- also bordering on blasphemous? Were the incarnations of Vishnu, stories which predate Christianity by 500-1500 years similarly blasphemous? How about Zoroaster, born of a virgin 1100 years before Christ?
The truth is that the virgin birth myth doesn't originate with Christianity. There are dozens of examples of it. It's a popular mythical idea that Christians did not invent.

Icaraus and Daedulus predate the Wright Brothers, but one is a myth and one was an aviation pioneer.
Since the Virgin Birth happened and Vishnu, etc. didn't, they don't fall into the same category. Chesterton takes apart a lot of that Golden Bough malarkey nicely in "The Everlasting Man".
That business of claiming that Lucas is riffing off of Zoroaster or Gilgamesh or whoever is nonsense. I said bordering on, because it was implicit, not explicit. Those kinds of objections worked on the general population in the '50s and '60s. We have since figured they were disingenuous then, and they are disingenuous now.

Not Zoroaster but a pre-zoroastrian pagan deity (sun-god) Mithra who was believed to be born of a virgin. Often people, non-zoroastrians, confuse the two & think they’re the same. The story about Mithra is mythology & lore. I’m yet to meet a practicing zoroastrian who thinks zoroaster was born to a virgin.

To a Christian, especially a Catholic, that Virgin Birth is not a myth. It’s a reality that our present society likes to step on, so we get a little wary. That part of the story made me kind of uncomfortable, too... As a whole though, I think there are a lot of things that are good in there- I like to watch them when they’re on- and Lando turned out to be a hero! Guess I’m a bit of a nerd myself...
