Oversized alligator shoes...
Was barbecuing Salmon one fine Summer’s day here at the ranch when of a sudden a Raccoon came down the hill from the vicinity of the barn, and joined us. He kept about eight feet from us, and watched our every move. We could almost imagine the napkin around his neck, a knife, and a fork in each hand. Soon he tired of the wait I guess, and climbed a fig tree to the roof of the house, and disappeared.
It was lots of fun, but not one of us thought to get the camera.
Oh she
sailed away on a
pleasant summer’s day
on the back of a crocodile.
You see,
said she, “he’s as
tame as he can be, I’ll
float him down the Nile.”
But the
croc’ winked his eye as she
waved to all good-bye,
wearing a sunny smile.
At the
end of the ride the
lady was inside, and the
smile on the croc-o-dile!
Reminds me of Slim Pickens “riding the bomb” Yaaahooooo!!!
We have two raccoons living upstairs in our horse barn. They come downstairs every evening to eat with our barn cats.Cats and raccoons stand shoulder to shoulder eating,no fights break out-everybody gets along. The coons will even walk up to me or my wife and tug on our pant leg,it’s their way of saying they want a horse treat. And we always give them one.
Gator version of “brown-bagging” lunch?
Later
They came back from the ride
With the lady inside,
And the smile on the face of the Tiger.
I can only imagine what was going thru that raccoon’s mind; “Oh $#!%, this log is MOVING!”
“Gator version of brown-bagging lunch?”
That is what I was thinking. As soon as the gator goes underwater that racoon had better know how to swim real fast.
