The space photo shows that the Pyramids are hardly out in the middle of no where. They're immediatlly adjacent to Giza. Which of course, like all of Egypt, is nasty hole populated by awful people.

I marveled at the traffic.. At a stop light in the downtown of Cairo.. You had carts. Bikes, buses, trucks, taxis, motorcycles, no lanes .. not marked anyway.
The light changed and a whoosh of dust ensued..
I enjoyed the visiting the Cairo Museum Most not all.. Food wise. It was OK.
