She only recently got the new gig over at the new WMEX.
She has always been very pro Cop.
When I first read this story a couple of days ago I sensed that the arresting officer had embellished the report a little. This above reads like even more BS.
I drive that area of the Expressway quite regularly, and the Cops rarely ( I mean never) pull anyone over for erratic driving. Heck, erratic driving is a requirement there.
I am no big fan of this woman simply because she does not have a ‘radio voice.’ It is difficult listening to her in my opinion.
I don’t buy this report at all though. It is way too iron clad for this Police Officer.
Does that include Operating my power saw or chain saw and lawn tractor in my yard?
Booze is the main and original “mind altering substance” and it works.
That is why some people act in ways their friends don’t recognize, when they get drunk.
Was she drinking Night Train [Woo Woo]?
As I stated up top, this seems very uncharacteristic of her. She always seemed like a solid citizen and a patriot to me. I always liked her work, whether it was her reporting, her books or her talk radio work (annoying voice notwithstanding).
Here is her official website.
Of interest to you perhaps? Chump line ought to be good with this stuff to work with.
Thank you! I vaguely recollect writing rules that require one to define an acronym before using it. /rant
I guess it is really hard to not drive drunk in Boston.
Fwiw, I think it works that way in most every state now.
Thank MADD and the state revenuers.
Add Transgender and Hispanic for full credit!
“What is a OUI?”
Yes.
So many laws, so little time.
It's entirely at the discretion of the officer, Red.
It's like the little girl lemonade stand thingee. The officer picks and chooses which of the innumerable laws he wants to enforce at that particular moment.
One of my favorites (blast from the past) was when the guy was sitting outside a diner and using their WiFi hotspot on his lunch hours:
Another Incident Of Dumb Cops Arresting A Guy For Using An Open Wi-Fi Connection
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1843766/posts
...Sparta Police Chief Andrew Milanowski asked Peterson where he got the Internet connection, and Petsron said from the cafe.
Now, the story so far is shocking enough, but it gets even more shocking:
Milanowski ruled out Peterson as a possible stalker of the attractive local hairdresser, but still felt that a law might have been broken.
"We came back and we looked up the laws and we figured if we found one and thought, 'Well, let's run it by the prosecutor's office and see what they want to do,'" Milanowski said.
Here's how that reads to me: They don't care about who's using Wi-Fi in Sparta, Mich. The police chief just didn't like the way Peterson parted his hair, and so he dug and dug and dug until he found something he could charge Peterson with.
Peterson copped a plea. If he'd fought it, he could have faced a sentence of up to five years in jail, and a $10,000 fine...
I call this "peasant law" - this is the reason that no charges against Hillary Clinton or Lois Lerner don't pass the smell test. I know for a fact that Lois Lerner committed felonies by giving taxpayer information to other, unauthorized gruberment agencies.
Hillary committed obstruction felonies.
But they aren't peasants...
She looks like John Kerry after a Bruce Jenner make-over.
Saretainly - it's a state of affairs that's enough to git yer Irish up!
It is French for “I’m your fool”
Some places it includes riding a horse.I don’t know how they handle it if the horse has been drinking too.
Bruce Jenner, AKA "Bruised Gender"...
They shoot the dog? Or do they do that, anyway?
In the 70s OUI was a dirty magazine.
