The cause of an early morning fire north of San Diego was an electrocuted bird falling from an active power line
A bird carrying a snake in its talons struck power lines north of San Diego, sparking a hillside fire just west of The Merge.
San Diego Police arrived to the location on Dunhill Street near the intersection of Interstates 5 and 805 just before 6 a.m.
Flames were burning very close to businesses including the General Atomics building, officials said.
Officers called in San Diego Fire-Rescue crews who contained the fire within an hour.
Fire officials initially told NBC 7 a bird with a snake in its mouth was electrocuted on a power line and fell to the ground, sparking the fire. A photo released by officials later shows the snake in the hawk's grasp.
"A hawk that hit the high voltage power line, caught fire, and fell to the ground," SD Fire-Rescue spokesperson Lee Swanson said in a written release.
There were no structures damaged and no evacuations ordered.
This area of San Diego is home to many companies in the region's biochemical industry.

LOL! The is no A/C in the BB SUV, so if I want to be cool, I stay indoors. I do go to the patio in the mid-morning to sit with the rest of the ol’ geezers and solve the problems of the world, but for the most part, if I have to do errands, I do them between 0500 — 0900. After that, it’s too much and my lungs start to tell me how much they hate me.
After re-entry the capsule can fly like a badly designed plane! lol
Shouldn't take too long to get used to it though. Of course if you have used internut exploder forever, there will be a learning curve.. ;-)
Seriously, it has been quite a while - like more than a year - since I ran into a website that required IE to display properly so given IE's negatives (security being the biggest, followed by non support of current internet standards, followed by its dismissal into 'unwanted stepchild' status with the advent of winTen and the new 'edge', there is no compelling reason to keep it around. Even on winAte... ;-)

An invasion!
I went to a training on homeless intake and learned about the Methadone program. They give you perscription Methadone so you won’t take illegal Heroin and possibly do something awful to yourself.
But, of course, you will be on Methadone for the rest of your life if they have their way. And they will get paid by the government for every pill you take.
If you take <= 30mg a dose you could probably detox in a 3-5 day program. If you take > 30mg it’s more like a year.
Guess how often the prescribe <= 30mg?

If your Comma Chameleon changed 2/3 of your commas to semicolons, you’d have an awful lot of semicolons, but you’d no longer have comma splices.
With CFIDS, besides being insidious in other ways, prescription drugs are filthy. Period. They either mimic the symptoms, have no effect at all or are an over-dose. I am not here to be a guinea pig for the Pharma-Giants. All they can do is treat the symptoms with a HUGH variety of different uber-expensive pills and I just can’t go through that. I tried it. It was hell.
So I began to research the symptoms and looked for natural remedies to help heal the areas that I was having problems with. I now spend about $250 a month on herbal remedies, but I have finally reached a place where I almost feel like a real person again. CFIDS changed who I am, but I’m beginning to feel like a human again.
In moments of stress, however, I’m a babbling idiot and I need to find my village.
