Trump said the Republicans are pushing the deal because they dont understand the topic and theyre making a mistake.
Its because you have lobbyists lobbying for this thing, and you have lobbyists representing areas of industry, you have lobbyists representing countries, Trump said.

its a disgraceful scam
You dodge treaty law with Fast track. Cruz and his pals like Paul Ryan and Bonehead must be so giddy. that is why TPP is being ram thru in record time!
Who are trying to fool here lecturing us . Its a secretive monster that has little to do with trade and everything to deal with circumventing existing US laws via a treaty .
Cruz thinks he and the rest of K street Billionaire whores are real slick.
I have not caught him in an overt lie.
But he is a master of deception and misdirection.
He called for TPP to be made public, AFTER he voted to GUT the constitution by applying "Fast Track" (TPA) to the deal POTUS is negotiating. With that Congressional consensus TPP can pass with 51 votes in the US Seante, rather than the 67 votes called for in Article II.
This is precisely the method Congress used to enable POTUS to make a Nuke "Treaty" with Iran. And NAFTA, and multiple trade deals when better men were in office.
Again, it’s not treaty...it’s a trade agreement.
And Ted Cruz, doesn’t “peddle” anything- he affirmatively assumes an ideological conservative position, and promotes and defends it. If you don’t understand that, you don’t understand him.
First there was the amendment spin which is impossible thanks to
fast track which he voted for and promoted with Ryan
Now its we have a right to see it before we vote which is also banned under Fast track .
Desperate spinning away.
I understand that this race is between Walker and Trump for anyone who cares about this great republic.
Cruz is on the side of those who would destroy this republic. He's on the wrong side of Immigration and he's on the wrong side of Treaty/Trade authority and law.
It baffles me that anyone who claims conservative could be a supporter.
"He is scamming us again".
Absolutely TRUE!!!
As Drudge called it.
The GOP is committing Treason.
Where does that put Cruz
I think Media giant Drudge knows all about it and its that bad.
I’m no Kreskin, but I predict you won’t make your 20 year anniversary here. Not at this rate.
Peace, guys.
Whaddya say we take a break for this evening?
Why are you pushing Donald Trump when he cannot or will not do for himself what he bloviates he can do for the entire United States?
I see two choices: Donald Trump is cynically using people like you for publicity, or he's stupid and believes his own blather. Which do you think it is?<\p>

so the spin here reflects the desperation.
Its hard to be MR Conservative and sell out The USA to foreign lobbyists and the Chamber of Crony Capitalism and The Hedge Billionaire that is financing your Pres run.
He already did, why wouldn't he do it again?
"Fast Track" per se was challenged to the USSC and they ruled in 92 it was "non jeduciable"...that it was up to POTUS and Congress to decide what was, and was not a "treaty" covered under Article II, Section II constraints.
However, the context of that ruling was PURELY trade.
This new deal covers immigration and sovereign product standards...and the adjudication of disputes in courts not under US sovereign control.
This would CLEARLY trip the threshold of Article II, Section II.
Yes, Ted Cruz has not only enabled an end-run around the constitution, he has violated it.
You want to impugn the veracity and patriotism of the best, most conservative candidate since President Reagan and then when we push-back you want to call time-out? &^*# you and the pig you rode in on!
Do you have influence over that?
You’ve been here since 1998 and you don’t know how this site works? Seriously?
It can only be enacted legally by a 2/3's majority of the Senate and it's unconstitutional to keep it a secret.
I know Jim was Navy and never did like Army much.
Give up the spin and stop trying to shift the discussion.
**********
Friend, you’re posting 3 different replies to my 1, it would be kind of hard for me to shift the discussion, eh?
I’ve simply tried to reason with you. I’ve given you an article that details Sen. Cruz’s history since he was a teenager— to attempt to illustrate that in all of college, legal and legislative life- he is the direct opposite of your current view of him.
But, instead of reading the article, you appear to rely on the representations of “media giant Drudge”. Well, all I recall about Mr. Drudge was how he used his space to engage in character assassinations of good conservatives as he shilled for Mr. Romney in 2012.
A poor excuse for a giant.
Now look here.
I did nothing of the sort.
I said I want Cruz to support American jobs. I do not want Cruz to involve himself in a bunch of globalist mish-mash about jobs and any number of other things in a massive secret bill.
Cruz is frankly starting to bother me a tiny bit. That’s fine, because Trump apparently is suffering the same fate, in your opinions.
I was just suggesting we might all do well to climb down and go at this another time.
That is all.
There is lots of time to argue politics before the election.
Lots and lots, and lots of time.
I'll ask you what I asked another Trump fan:
Since Donald Trump chooses to manufacture his clothing line in third world countries why are you pushing Donald Trump when he cannot or will not do for himself what he bloviates he can do for the entire United States?
I see two choices: Donald Trump is cynically using people like you for publicity, or he's stupid and believes his own blather. Which do you think it is?<\p>
