Nazis served kohlrabi to American POWs
First Lady Michelle Obama is growing German turnips in the White House garden, the Washington Free Beacon has learned.
Mrs. Obama offered students visiting the White House this week a “healthy meal,” which her anti-obesity group Let’s Move claimed was “harvested from the Kitchen Garden [Wednesday] morning.”

Sorry, but I fail to see why it is necessary to denigrate her for serving “NAZI food”, as if no one else ever ate this. Geesh. A real stretch and insult to boot. Smacks only of the tired old association-with-NAZI/Hitler game.

Maybe she could serve a typical moochelle school lunch consisting of outdated milk, undercooked chicken on a burned bun, still frozen strawberries stuck together, and a space on the tray where french fries would have gone had they not run out of them. Schools using her menus are seeing a billion dollars of “food” thrown in the trash each year.

Not a fan of the Mooch, but Kohlrabi is actually quite tasty although I have never heard it called German turnip. It is a member of the cabbage family.

My point is the article draws some tenuous connection to NAZIs.
Further, it implies anyone who eats food NAZIs might have served to prisoners is evil. Lots of us have German blood and there is a huge chance not just NAZIs eat the stuff.
