I thought Dr. Krauthammer was being extremely circumspect.
Conservatives simply won’t vote for him because he’s an asshole.
You mean, if someone snidely belittles you in the media, you would just lay back and take it? Does anyone other than George W Bush do that, thereby causing certain suggestible people to think it must be true? I noticed yesterday that Hannity defended himself in no uncertain terms when Linda Graham belittled him. Was that prompted by Hannity’s ego. Why is Trump not allowed an ego? Is allowing someone to slap you around a sign of strength? Charles Krauthammer got his start in politics trying to get Ronald Reagan defeated.
I’m certain Charles could make it through Wharton Business School. I seriously doubt Donald would make it through even a semester of Harvard Medical.
Trump is a rare bird.
He’s a RINO without being part of the GOPe.
Remember, Trump supported Obama in 2008, knowing that Obama lacked experience. Trump lacks judgment.
If Trump id going into a battle of wits with Krauthammer he had better arm himself. I don’t think he has the intellectual capacity to go word for word with Krauthammer. Without his yes men around he is just another mouth that roars.

Based on that un-Presidential hissy fit, I'd say Krauthammer got under his skin and in his head.

Dr. K is roughly twice as impressive and twice as smart as Donald Trump is.
Trump and half the announced GOP candidates for Prez are only seeking the benefits of the publicity the run offers, nothing more.
That said, I think politics is definitely not his strong point... and trying to take on Krauthammer in an intellectual battle is just plain foolhardy. But... he's a big boy, so I guess if he wants to play then he can certainly give it his best shot!
Somebody who loves the spotlight as much as Trump shouldn’t be so thin-skinned. His attention-seeking behavior got old a long time ago.
Trump’s ego pales in comparison to Krauthammer. I remember when good old conservative genius Kraut was writing speeches for Walter (Elmer Fudd) Mondale.
Lets be fair and recognize that Kraut is right about 60% of the time with his prognostications. Sometimes he’s painfully wrong and I remember when he and George Will and Rich Lowery and the Baier panel were snickering like schoolboys early on when they heard Cruz was going to run. Not so much now.
I thought Donald Trump was foolish to let Krauthammer run him out of the 2012 race. I’m sure he’s still smarting from it. Kraut’s a big boy let him take the heat.
