Id like to amend that title to 19 Disgusting Things About The Duggars .and Counting.
Heres why:
1) Their son Josh was a serial child abuser, yet they dont seem to even realise this salient fact. He was so young, they wailed, hed just turned 14 . he was so young etc, vomit-makingly etc. Heres the only fact that matters: Josh Duggar sexually molested FOUR of his own young sisters, one as young as 5, and a baby-sitter.
2) They didnt report him to anyone for 16 months after he first confessed. Thats not them being failed parents as they would have us believe. Thats being an accessory to covering up a crime. When they finally did tell someone in authority, it was to this man. A state trooper who did nothing about it and is now languishing in prison on child pornography charges

3) When they finally did tell someone in authority, it was to a state trooper who did nothing about it and is now languishing in prison on child pornography charges. You couldnt make that up.
4) The Duggars seem more upset that we now all know about Joshs disgraceful activities than about the activities themselves. Their doe-eyed exclamations of self-pity were utterly disingenuous.
5) They claim none of the victims knew they were being abused, which is obviously palpable nonsense given that some were awake when it happened. The reality is their parents conned them into thinking the abuse wasnt as bad as it was. Just as they have, for years, conned them into thinking their weird, twisted, religiously zealous, goody-two-shoes lifestyle is normal too.

Josh is sick, very sick.
“If you think its bad now, just wait until the other shoes start hitting the floor.
There is much more to this story.”

Care to post anything to substantiate this unfounded statement? Or does it suffice you to simply slander with inferences?
If you haven’t seen the child birth scene from Monty Python’s “Meaning of Life”, I urge you to. It hilariously reminds one of the Buggers (oops! misprint).
Let's clean that up a bit.
People like JimBob and Michelle Duggar are smug, condescending pedophile supporters. Their hypocrisy has been revealed and they use their holier than thou smugness as a mace to beat their opponents.
It doesn't matter whether it was "appropriate" or not. The police had a legal obligation to release the report after someone requested it.
“God bless the Duggars! May more families in America put Jesus Christ first and raise their children to turn from sin and seek repentance!”
For me, it is hard to imagine that a family that condones their teenaged son’s behavior which included his inserting his finger into his five year old sister’s vagina as the way more American families should be.
Enough with the Dugger stories!
“”he only confessed when confronted, never on his own””
I believe that’s untrue. I watched the first interview of Megan Kelly’s and it was distinctly said that he went to his parents first! AND I have no idea where you get the rest of your info as it wasn’t part of the interview nor have I seen it reported elsewhere.
I’m amazed at how eager conservatives are to jump upon this bandwagon.
Yes what Josh did was disgusting. But that doesn’t change the fact that the family is being punished for (eventually) telling the authorities instead of keeping the punishment within the family like it would have been throughout most history. And that the liberal frenzy gleefully dragging the family through the mud in graphic blow by blow detail simultaneously gloating and pretending to care for the children is doing incalculably more damage to the daughters than some stupid kid touching his sister’s junk.
Thats why conservatives are losing and will continue to lose as long as they stupidly continue to play by the left’s rules and allow them to define the battlelines.
It contradicts what they told the police in 2006.
First thing any decent defense attorney would tell the Duggars is to get their stories straight.
I think Michelle Duggar was reluctant in Wednesday night’s interview to state exactly that same thing. They were asked if they believed some were following an agenda and with hesitancy, she said “yes” and there wasn’t any doubt what that meant.
“”Bible believing Christian””
It’s a loose end JimBob had YEARS to tie up and yet did not.
He only visited the police and gave the statement(s) because he was summoned. The cops got a heads up on the behavior when a producer for the Oprah show called the local cops to tell them of the rumor.
Reportedly he was unable to get a lawyer to take the case. Which explains the ‘sealed records’ bumbling.
Every one of us is a sinner. And yes, people are enjoying this fall from public grace. It’s become an obsession, IMO. We all have crap in our lives and you never know when your life could turn upside down by something horrific. Never say never.
They only told the authorities because the authorities called them in AFTER Oprah gave them a letter one of the daughters had hid in a book detailing the abuse that was lent out in 2002.
Jimbob thought he was outsmarting the cops when he got everyone to say the abuse ended by 2003 in time for the 3 year Statute of Limitations to run out.
The interview was a lie in this respect. It really makes you wonder that they’d tell this sort of story and simultaneously complain about the police report being public and saying something completely different.
They had to sign the statements in the police report when it was taken.
Were they lying then or on the interview?
The police report makes it clear that he only confessed when his parents/JimBob confronted him.
And the behavior did NOT stop after the first incident. It escalated.
Interesting.
Aren’t you the one hiding behind your computer screen hurling darts now?
I’m just casting stones at those who cast stones at those they say are casting stones and accuse of leading sinful lives.
I generally don’t think much of Piers Morgan but he has a point in about half of the list.
“Every one of us is a sinner.”
Yes, we are all sinners, but we did not all poke our fingers into our five year old sister’s vaginas and as parents we did not all condone such behavior.
