We had a Golden/Brittany mix years ago that loved to chase squirrels and, like yours, never seemed to catch them. Except, one time, boom, the squirrel was DRT.
After that, the dog always seemed to give the squirrels a head start in the chase, and she never, ever, caught another one. Unlike our current setter mix whose greatest delight is sneaking dead baby bunnies into the house (sigh).

That made me laugh too...this lovely centered and balanced photo is of a “girl” with curly blondish hair and a pink collar.
I’m imagining him communicating “Hey...what’s YOUR name?”...lol.
I hate to be a wet blanket, but this was debunked on the Internet a few days ago as an advertising stunt. There are several pictures where you can see reflections of a human taking pictures from a low vantage point.
