Forget boobs and long legs: what men really look for in women
Telegraph (UK) ^

Posted on 05/25/2015 5:58:29 AM PDT by Perdogg

Men value intelligence in women far above large breasts and long legs, a Cambridge evolutionary biologist has claimed.

Although having a large bust and never-ending pins are deemed by western culture as the epitome of femininity, when choosing a mother for their children, men look for brains first,

Professor David Bainbridge, of the University of Cambridge said that intelligence is by far the most attractive quality for men looking for a long term partner because it demonstrates that his chosen partner is likely to be a responsible parent.

Julie Andrews has always been my beau ideal of femininity - an almost perfect woman with brains, beauty and that angelic soprano voice. She’s the absolute pinnacle of what a wife or girlfriend should be. Ah, Julie!

One of my favorite old Andy Capp cartoons: Flo asks Andy what he notices first in a woman (as a pretty young thing walks by). Andy’s response: “Depends on if she’s comin’ or goin’”.

Ms. Lararr's patent has nothing to do with encrypting per se.

As the patent is titled Secret Communication System, it certainly was a form of encryption. At the time, it was too difficult to scan all the frequencies and assemble them back into a single transmission, without the pseudo-random sequence.

RF engineers eventually realized it was a way to share a communications channel among multiple users, instead of slicing it into smaller channels by frequency or time. I was briefly involved with a handful of amateur radio enthusiasts that petitioned the FCC to allow experimentation with spread spectrum. Encryption is not allowed in amateur radio, and the FCC asked why they wanted to communicate "secretly". It took a while to convince the FCC to allow it.

If you can find one that’s:
*not tatted up
*not 35+ lbs. overweight
*doesn’t have a “baby daddy” or 4
*is STD free
*and isn’t on “meds”

THEN you start to look for items such as legs, hair, boobies, etc.

Yep.

It reminds me of this song by The Police:

Even a pessimistic song from the 80s sounded kinda upbeat.

Beauty is important, intelligence is critical. Not being attracted to d-bag guys who treat them like total crap - VITAL!

Most of the beautiful women I've dated....were all in love with the idea of a bad boy....and then were shocked when they were treated like dirt.

I tested this myself. The worse I treat them (no not abusive just ignoring them and putting them second to everything else) made them chase me more. It's stupid. It's not how I treat nor want to treat women. Yet, most seem to want exactly that. I grew up with older sisters who would not put up with that crap. It makes me realize how much of the exception they truly seem to be.

Thank You for those other links you sent as well. (I hadn't have the chance to say this yet Memorial Day Weekend and all)

They are most helpful!

And it is looking harder and harder to resist.
