The Pope is always ready to jump into the last wagon of the radical left while looking the other way in order not see the holocaust of Christians going on in the Muslim world.

GLOBAL WARMING? THE POPE IS WRONG...More often than not most socialists are and this Pope is no exception. I do believe it would be best if the Pope would stick to his calling, in his case religion. Well just a thought....

“The Pope is always ready to jump into the last wagon of the radical left while looking the other way in order not see the holocaust of Christians going on in the Muslim world.”

He runs a great risk here IMHO. Once a person is exposed as a fool on one thing, it’s hard to take them seriously on anything else... And I say that as a practicing Catholic.

It is deeper than that, the Pope is willing to disregard the spiritual for the material.

It is the abandonment of the human soul’s salvation in heaven itself for the earthly realm.

If the Pope thinks Man Made Global Warming is a threat to the earth, then you would think he’d support birth control and abortion.

The Pope seems to have forgotten that it is GOD who controls the climate.

But then I think this Pope has spent more time reading Darwin and Marx rather than studying the Bible.

Yes. This is the heart of the matter. The Church is supposed to be a mystical body which exists in Eternity, not a participant in shallow, worldly concerns. AGW, whether it is real or not, belongs in the category of things which will pass away. Its debate has no more ecclesiastical pertinence than a discussion of whether you should buy a Cadillac or a Lincoln.

The Pope is a human being with an opinion every bit as important, but not more so, than yours....I don’t agree either, but our president does, our former vice-president does, Governor Brown does.....so what???

I am sure that there is no such thing as a Marxist Catholic pope.

The ideology of Marxism and Socialism is incompatible with the Catholic Canon and all true Christian doctrine, because of subsidiarity and the notion of Free Will (Choice). Slavery —socialism/Marxism—is dehumanizing and is always EVIL.

This pope is either misquoted, on dope, bribed, or is a Freemason/sodomite infiltrator on the Fr. Oko “Homofascist” list. Maybe, Pope Benedict XVI was forced out (unprecedented) for a reason.

Pass the Popcorn, please.

as to your second point, you seem to be well up on the teachings of Darwin and Marx........why is that???

Ha...the Pope can just join with Obama to send a Papal Message and an Executive Order to the Sun to tell it to start making Sunspots.

Otherwise a new ice age will start.

One might have thought that the Latin church having come out on the wrong end of their last foray into taking an institutional position on scientific matters — the defense of Aristotelian celestial mechanics against Galileo et al. — might have learned a lesson.

GLOBAL WARMING

By Walter E. Williams | March 10, 2015

"But the debate is settled. Climate change is a fact," said President Barack Obama in his 2014 State of the Union address. Saying the debate is settled is nonsense, but the president is right about climate change.

GlobalChange.gov gives the definition of climate change: "Changes in average weather conditions that persist over multiple decades or longer. Climate change encompasses both increases and decreases in temperature, as well as shifts in precipitation, changing risk of certain types of severe weather events, and changes to other features of the climate system."

That definition covers all weather phenomena throughout all 4.54 billion years of Earth's existence.

Climate change predictions have been wrong for decades. Let's look at some. At the first Earth Day celebration, in 1969, environmentalist Nigel Calder warned, "The threat of a new ice age must now stand alongside nuclear war as a likely source of wholesale death and misery for mankind."

Climate change propaganda is simply a ruse for a socialist agenda. Consider the statements of some environmentalist leaders. Christiana Figueres, the U.N.'s chief climate change official, said that her unelected bureaucrats are undertaking "probably the most difficult task" they have ever given themselves, "which is to intentionally transform the (global) economic development model."

The most disgusting aspect of the climate change debate is the statements by many that it's settled science. There is nothing more anti-scientific than the idea that any science is settled. Very often we find that the half-life of many scientific ideas is about 50 years. For academics to not criticize their colleagues and politicians for suggesting that scientific ideas are not subject to challenge is the height of academic dishonesty.

The rest of the history

That happened the night of his election, when he knelt down to receive the blessing of the crowd.

“I’m not like other Popes. I’m much more humble. I’m different. Look at me! Look at meeee! Look at MEEEEE!!!! I’m humble!!!!!”

The best thing the next Pope could do is NOTHING that calls attention to his personality, his humility, etc. And no press conferences, few or no plane trips, etc.
