Classy lady.
Janis Joplin wouldn’t be caught dead at any award show these days in some of the “attire” worn by “stars”. ;-}

Classy singer from a far classier era than ours. This quote is rather sad:
Leaving Tiger Bay was the worst thing I ever did, she has said. Ive found happiness in my work, but not in my private life. I had to take from my private life to make my public life successful. I had to make a lot of sacrifices. I was happy in Cardiff. I had a great time. Every Thursday there was a factory club; darts, dancing. I was happy until success entered my life, and then it was all downhill. Success spoilt me. It took away my happiness. My success became a barrier with my family. They couldnt relate to me, and I couldnt relate to them.

From Marilyn Monroe's "Body Dress" (when she sang for JFK) to Cher and now to Rihanna, the women who had the shapes and wanted the publicity have had no problem in showing their 'assets!'

Bemoaning the decline of classThe combination of statism and mixed economy promotes the increasing mindlessness of the masses, which leads to the increasing debased mass tastes in art, music, entertainment,and literature.

I’m with Shirley on this.
I love that she wants to do the next Bond theme.

It has become ridiculous, just a runway competition to see who can have the highest side-slit in a dress, the lowest neckline, or the lowest waistline, or the sheerest, almost transparent material, etc., etc.
