I played baseball, football, did track, and boxed, but love soccer. It's a sport, like any other, and has great athletes. The players routinely run 6.5-7.5 miles per game - much of it sprinting, have no time outs, get cleated probably more than in any other sport, and not infrequently there are significant injuries - including broken bones, torn ACls, and concussions. I understand if people don't like it, but it's a tough sport.

Its hard to make that more gay.As opposed to a sport where the quarterback puts his hands on another another guy's "sack" to start a play from scrimmage, and then throws the ball to a tight end?

While they’re certainly skilled athletes..it does strike me as a sissy game. When tempers flare, they kick each other in the shins. More than once I’ve seen a hockey game where after getting hammered a guy pulls out his own tooth on the bench, casually hands it the trainer and gets back on the ice for his next shift.
