Over the past 48 hours the whole of the West coast of the United States has moved on at least a 4.0 magnitude level or greater.

Currently, another mid-4.0 magnitude (4.2 M) earthquake has struck the West coast, off the shores of Oregon, near the Axial undersea volcano (which is currently erupting).

At least a Caliente, NV might not be a good choice and then there are the series of small quakes near Hawthorne and even more south of Lakeview, OR in the far north of Nevada. Not as risky as CA but not a peaceful state.

Is Lex Luthor's plan taking place?

[pointing to a map of California and the San Andreas Fault]
Lex Luthor: Everything west of this line is the richest, most expensive real estate in the world: San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco. Everything on THIS side of the line is just hundreds and hundreds of miles of worthless desert land, which just so happens to be owned by... [Whaps Otis with his pointer] Otis: Uhhh... Lex Luthor Incorporated.

Lex Luthor: Now, call me foolish, call me irresponsible, but it occurs to me that a 500 megaton bomb planted at just the proper point would, uh...
Superman: Would destroy most of California. Millions of innocent people would be killed. The west coast as we know it would...
Lex Luthor: Fall into the sea.
Lex Luthor: [Gives a little wave with his hand] Bye-bye, California. Hello, new west coast. My west coast.
[Otis overlays map with new map]

Lex Luthor: Costa Del Lex. Luthorville. Marina del Lex...

Me too. But I also read HHTGTTG that line was cool but the reason I asked I think it was a line on the last Supernatural episode. Wait no, it was on the Flash.

That’s the title of a Douglas Adams novel, the fourth book of the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy trilogy.

Hey ,

hold on a minute!

At least let me pump up My life raft!

“Times run fast, we’ve gotta go

Grab your kids, don’t forget the raft

Plans in my head, with nothing to show

Future uncertain, there is no past.”

"I hereby preemptively stake a claim on any new islands formed by the undersea volcano, in the name of “Boogieland”. (FReepers will get preferential treatment when applying for citizenship)"

Will there be high speed ferry service? and no fairy service.
