Is it just my screen, or does it look more black than green?

You have to wonder if it was used for the same purpose then as it does now.

And if the guy did get lucky.

I bought one of those in Tijuana thirty years ago.

I opened the photo un photosop and boosted the saturation and vibrance to bring up whatever color it is to the maximum.

It was only after I boosted both “sliders’ to 100 percent did I begin to see a green cast to the bracelet.

the lighting when the photo was shot used direct light...maybe a couple of flashes...and they lent a bluish tint to the highlights which didnt help the color at all.

Thera are better ways to light such a shot. Its a shame they didnt use one of them

I think Wilma Flintstone had one of those.

Thanks for that information. Regardless of the bracelet’s color, its age is amazing.

Thanks bgill. Very interesting. I know a few people who have had their DNA tested. Some (of Northern European descent of all things) had Denisovan DNA identified.

There were several stories on that site that I enjoyed. The “amazon” whose face was reconstructed, the Irish Elk—damn big deer!—and the woolly mammoth extinction articles were also interesting.

The bracelet is green when backlit, not blue, not white, not cyan....

Ancient man was much more resourceful than people think. Manually shaping stone for a while and will motivate the sculptor/jeweler try and find an easier way to mill it!

Guess not, they went extinct.

I wonder if the person went to Jared’s...or did they get it from Kay, because every kiss beings with Kay...
