It's house-cleaning time for the major networks as the cancellation ax falls in order to make for new additions in the fall.
Some shows, such as NBC's "State of Affairs" and "Constantine," have been off the air so long that it feels they'd already been cancelled. But the formal notice falls just as hard even when if it is long expected.

Rachel has always been not guilty.
You will be glad to know that Netflix picked up Longmire for at least another season, they are shooting it now
Agreed. The lead is as important as the writing which, Backstrom had neither. Just my 2 cents.....
I’ll miss The Following. I’m a week behind so I just watched the Evermore episode & it could’ve been the series finale so I don’t think they’ll have any trouble bringing things to a conclusion. I hope for a happy ending for Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon’s character) though - he’s been through enough!
“Backstrom. Gone. Dang.. I never slept so good.”
Terrible show, and I really wanted to like it.
So, so, so derivative, they even just stole the “wacky chick” from NCIS,
Dreadful.
Try harder next time people, try and think up an idea or two of your own.
Hubby was watching “Utopia” that was bad too.
Thanks for posting that link.
I like their opening “It’s that time of year once again, when every TV show on air battles it out to be named the winner of Dancing With America’s Next Top Zombie Chef of the Ninja Warrior Iron Throne Diaries.”
I hope they don’t cancel “Bate Motel”, hubby and I are really enjoying it, although we do have the whole current season on DVR, ready to binge watch when the time is right. I think it’s a great show, just visually stunning.
“american horror story” is also a weird thing with us. We watched the first season, pretty good, but then Sandy hit and I just couldn’t take it. The second season was so anti-Catholic, homey don’t play THAT.
And we tried to watch it again, but it was just, you know, so scary and creepy.
The new Fargo sounds good, I love Jean Smart. But I did actually hear the producer(s) say on Terri Gross’s NPR show that it was a one shot. Oh well, I guess good ratings changed their minds....not that there’s anything wrong with that.
“FOX - Full Of Xcrement “
That’s pretty good!
90 shows gone on this list:

“I really liked Galavant.”
Me too! And my daughter loved it too. We just love that stuff. The guy who played the king, who was on “Psyche” was FANTASTIC.
And I love how they ended it, like “hey, maybe we’ll be back”.
And before anyone scoffs, look at what they set out to do, write an 8 or 10 hour musical, who does that?
They had some great numbers, loved it!
-——I liked Stalker. My only complaint is there were no happy people, only brooders.——
My complaint was every woman on the show needed a hamburger.... Several at that....
Way, way too skinny...
“Dean Winters...Mayhem in the Allstate commercials.”
He is excellent in those. He struck me as Michael Keaton-esque!
If that show is not cancelled we’ll watch it.
I discovered it while in the ER on a Sunday night drugged up. A kidney stone hit a few hours before.
The ones with Rutger Hauer as the really evil brother were really funny.
Only one I ever saw was Hart of Dixie, and I really liked it.
And the only one I could never get into, despite giving it a fair chance (6 or 7 episodes before I decided, "eh, why bother?").
Watching The Flash, on the other hand, feels like being about 12 or 13 again.
I hope you aren’t messing with me - I got trolled by a friend on April Fool’s day about Whedon getting prequels to Firefly green-lighted...
I will pay Netflix without regret if they pick up Longmire! I think it’s that good!! Sort of a modernized Matt Dillon.
I have not heard of any of them. Oh well.
Did they cancel NCIS Des Moines?
Sooner or later every show will jump the shark.
Been off of broadcast network TV for three years now.
My online favorites:
NCIS and NCIS New Orleans
Arrow
Flash
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Game of Thrones
Vikings
