Is it me or is this dude creepy looking? I just saw that liquor commercial (can't remember the details of the comm) and they show him at the end of the ad where he laughs and his face doesn't move.
I remember him in a movie (the title escapes me right now)with Kurt Russell in which he was a psycho cop preying on Russell's wife and he was creepy then.
Is this guy on some kind of facial drug?
Funny? Funny Like how? Funny Like a clown? Does he amuse you?
He was really a creep in “Something Wild”. Kind of a breakout roll for him...
Quite possibly one of the most memorable bits of dialog in all of film. It's up there with "steekin' badges" and "we need a bigger boat". And I just recently found out that Joe Pesci (playing Tommy DeVito) was friends with an actual Tommy DeVito played a real-life role in the formation of the music group, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.
Isn’t it a Mercedes commercial?
He was also Babe Ruth or someone like that in “Field of Dreams” with Kevin Costner. Not a total creep, just the ability to look creepy.
Ray Liotta played the part of Shoeless Joe Jackson in FoD.
He suffered extensive brain loss in one of his roles.
Willem Dafoe. Now that guy is creepy.
One of those Hannibel Lector movies where the whole top of his brain/head was exposed. That did it for me! I could never look at him again the same. I knew right then and there he would always be known as “creepy”.
Yeah! That’s it! Thanks.
He makes a good gangster type
That list is terrible. Steve Buscemi can be a little creepy sometimes. Willem Dafoe is distrubingly creepy. I would never even watch a movie with him in it.
Creepy but an awesome actor. I really liked him in "Platoon," thought I didn't care much for the movie. He's done so many memorable characters, one of the best being the villain in "To Live and Die in LA," also starring the guy who would later be Grissom on CSI.
Mark
I can’t believe that Michael Madson didn’t make the creepy list.
What’s a facial drug, may I ask?
Absolutely!
He has a maniacal laugh.
Even when playing a "sympathetic" character like Shoeless Joe, he still laughed like that.
Made me instantly not trust him.
But a fine actor though.
I really bought him as a gangster in Goodfellas.
BTW, supposedly Joe Pesci improvised the "I'm a clown? I'm here to amuse you?" scene.
Liotta's reaction is genuine. He had no idea what was going on, and Tommy really scared him.
He's great at not breaking character.
Same as when Paulie *really* slaps him for using drugs.
Liotta didn't expect that either.
Watch those scenes again.
Masterful.
You should read his background.. Him and His sister were adopted when they were babies..
