I luv the system. I use it on pole beans and cucumbers as well.
We lost power here just a minute or two ago. We're in the time of T-storms, so I sorta expect it.
When power went out, the lights elsewhere in the house turned off.
I never lost one of the computers (laptop with battery) or internet.
I'm powering the AT&T router with emergency power. They keep their end up, and I do too, now.
It was good to know that there was NO delay in switch over. No nothing to do, except keep using the equipment.
That's exactly what I wanted to happen. Yay!

Perhaps....over time....maybe significant amount of time....those trees might just mysteriously start getting sick...and never recover and eventually die.
It’s been known to happen..

What if you just prune your tree to death over a couple of years? Is it too big for a electric saw from the rental place?
Papa Murphy’s is about a half a mile from us and we have it at least twice a month. We add red chili flakes to ours and sometimes crushed pineapple. Truly a quality pizza ~
The management company is using that exact tactic!
Beautiful! I have a nice iris collection. I love iris even managed to fertilize them this year. We are only just now starting to get a few flower spikes starting.
Oh My ~~~ I have never eaten Morels
I have a great story about the first time I ate morels. I was in college in southern Illinois. First time living outside the south side of Chicago so I went ape for nature. A local girl took about 10 of us for a canyon walk and she had a cast iron pot and a frying pan with her. On the canyon floor there were morels all over an area about 80 feet by 80 feet. We pulled forward our t-shirts and filled them up, even hats. we only managed to pick about a tenth of what we saw. I had never seen them before and they did not look really appetizing. The local girl assured us they would be great. We started up a small fire, she found some creek water and cooked up some brown rice. We washed the mushrooms and a stick of butter appeared out of nowhere. She melted it and sliced the mushrooms lengthwise and started to saute them. She even had salt and pepper and a bottle of some soy sauce for the rice. We ate the together and it was heavenly. I had never tasted anything like it before. Morels are pretty plentiful here in west Michgan if you have the right habitat. Up north a couple of hours they are real heavy and many Michiganders make trips up north every year just to hunt morels. Of course they will never tell you where their spots are.
The sure cure for tree rats is 40gr. lead pellet applied to the noggin at high velocity.

I hope it's going to help. The only things I despise more than spending time pulling weeds are politicians and muzzies. lol
I managed to get eight eggplants, eight pepper plants, and eight yellow squash transplanted before the rain came today. Yesterday it was just a light sprinkle most of the day. Today it was sunny, then cloudy, then it deluged.
No worries though. I need to shower and take Mrs. Augie out for her Mother's Day supper anyway.
The garden will still be there tomorrow.
Love the pic of your bearded Iris. My Gramma had those things planted all around her yard fence and up next to the house.
After she passed my lil brother moved into the house. He’s pretty much disabled due to a couple back surgeries and a couple more head injuries. He had no interest or ability to keep the flowerbeds clean so Mrs. Augie and I would go over there every spring and dig some up to bring home. Now we have Irises and daffodils from Gramma’s yard all around our yard.
Makes me think of my Gramma and brings a big smile every time I look at them. Especially on Mother’s Day.
