The skier Lindsey Vonn said on Sunday that she and the former world No 1 golfer Tiger Woods have decided to end their three-year relationship.
Vonn, an Olympic champion, said on Facebook that she and the 14-time major winner lead “incredibly hectic” lives that had required them to spend most of their time apart.
The pair announced their relationship in mutual social media postings in March 2013. There was no immediate word from Woods on the split.

Well, Tiger’s career is over so that element of the relationship should no longer be a problem.

Yes and no. I think a lot of times “celebrities” put out these types of statements, usually upon the advice of their publicist, in order to get out in front of the tabloids. If you can say in your own words (or what your publicist writes for you) that, “Yes. We broke up but it was mutual and amicable, due to conflicting schedules, career demands, but we still care for each other, blah, blah, blah”, that “may” take the wind out of the more salacious tabloid stories – stories true or untrue or only partially true.
Kudos to both Vonn and Woods on their injury recoveries............
I've followed world cup and olympic skiing all my life and have agonized over the injuries these professional skiers have endured.
I recently watched a documentary on Lindsey Vonn's rehab following two potentially career ending crashes in the downhill, February and November of 2013 and what she endured and accomplished afterwards are nothing short of extraordinary. She should be awarded female athlete of the decade........... She definitely will go down in history as the best U.S. female skier ever.............
Yeah he did blow it big time.
He messed with her, and essentially threw away his marriage for her, so you would think a relationship would mean something if you sacrificed another. But I hop he learns how confession and forsaking of sin are for the soul.
Just curious, what would possess a top, highly paid Swedish model to come to the U.S. and work as a nanny for a PGA golfer named Jesper Parnevik?

No I think you are mistaken. I don’t think tiger woods even knew Lindsay Vaughn at the time his marriage broke up.

Her taste in boyfriends is not as solid as her skiing however.
