An investigation has concluded Freddie Gray broke his neck after falling head-first into the back of the police van as it was moving, it was reported today. The news comes hours after Baltimore Police admitted the van transporting Gray made a previously unreported stop (pictured, left). The mysterious detail was picked up by a privately-owned security camera, and will be integral to the police investigation into Gray's death. Medical and law enforcement sources briefed on the police investigation told ABC News Gray's 'catastrophic' head injuries were consistent with hitting a bolt 'in the back door of the van'. They claimed there was 'no evidence' Gray sustained a fatal spine injury during his arrest, which was caught on camera on a street side on April 12. The report that Gray fell inside the van corroborates claims he was given a 'rough ride' by the van driver, who is the only officer yet to deliver a statement to the investigators. According to the sources, Gray was standing in the van, bent over with his hand cuffed behind his back and his head pointing towards the back door. It is believed he fell into the door, breaking his neck. Police Commissioner Anthony Batts (bottom right) refused to elaborate on the new information.

That would be assuming the suspect who was screaming as if in pain and dragging his legs upon arrest and initially being put into the van, was able to stand minutes later.

40 years ago, it would have been a white mayor, and we wouldn’t be looking at party. Now? Mayor is black and every person involved is a democrat. No cameras on the police in a democrat town.

I don’t find any video on the 5th stop but there could be video out there which surfaces. I will keep an eye out and let you know if I find any.
When you are transporting an out of control prisoner it is not a good idea to belt them in, it places your head where the prisoner can bite, head butt, or knee you.

Bet there are a hundred others looking for 5 too, if there is a 5th stop. Seems the driver made a couple stops pertaining directly to the suspects behavior. Was it possible extreme pain induced hysteria being heard/exhibited by the suspect?
Unfortunately the fact the suspect is seen screaming and dragging his legs before even entering the vehicle complicates this.

Freddie's body looked like that of a rag doll, so limp that he couldn't be faking it. Take a good look at the video clip again, folks...his feet his legs, how the cops were carrying him.
I noticed this right off the bat last night, it was so obvious that something was terribly and genuinely wrong with his frame BEFORE he was even put into the vehicle.
Again, my opinion is that something was suspiciously not right with his body prior to being stuffed into the paddy wagon....and the six cops and any alleged "wild ride" had nothing to do with it at all...unless a previous injury (foot chase and take-down?) was exacerbated.

The other criminal who testified that Gray was banging the walls himself..... well he was subsequently not charged with any thing, and is now changing his story.

I wondered that myself. And if the driver had taken Freddy on a rough ride wouldn’t the other passenger have said so?
Since everyone seems to be guessing here I will play. I would not be surprised if gray intentionally banged his head on the door. Prisoners are known to do that as well. Who knows?
