If this statement from the article's author is accurate, then the contention of the referenced Mr. Feely must be inaccurate.
worst quarterback ever?????........There is a really BIG crowd for that title, but Tim isn’t in it.................
Does Tebow own a bakery?
and since Tebow has reportedly been working full time for the last coupla years to improve his game, I think it might be a good time for him to get a second chance.
Am just an average fan, and never understood “mechanics” or “footwork.”
I just look at wins and the ability to make successful plays. In 2011, he had some very good games, including playoff wins, and some crappy games as well. In sum, he’s done as well, or much better than, more acclaimed draftees, such as Geno Smith, here in NY, for example.
As such, comments such as “worst QB ever” just seem asinine.
Worse than Johnny Manziel?
Who is Jay Feely?
I’ll bet he wouldn’t dare say that about Mcnab.
I don’t understand all the wailing and gnashing of teeth. All the Eagles have really done is give Tebow an invite to camp to see if he can make it. If he’s still not NFL caliber he’ll be cut with no loss to the Eagles. Then he’ll be pretty much forgotten.
There was a QB for the Vikings back in the 60s that threw end over end passes, but managed to win. Joe Kapp
Think they went to the Super Bowl with him.
Being an ex-Floridiot I loved seeing U of F win the championship. But Tebow won with running, power running, not the pass.
I’m a Tebow fan and hope he makes it in the NFL and utilized to his strengths he could.
Not even close to the worst (Gino Toretta, anyone?), but even if he is really bad I don’t think there’s really enough statistical data to make that assessment. Give him 2 or 3 years of regular play in the league, then lets look at the numbers.
I guess he’s never seen the work of Jamarcus Russell , ? ,
The poor Marxist pundiots’ heads are exploding. Last year Foles was the 4th string QB for that idiot Kelly.
Go Ducks
WTH does a kicker know about being a QB?! Tebow has probably got chunks of guys like him in his stool.
Since the NFL went to 32 teams, there have been a lot of QBs playing that never would have played back when the NFL was 24 teams. Speaking of which, when I started watching the NFL back in 1972 - 24 teams - there as a leftie for the Bears named Bobby Douglas. Played a few years and was possibly the worst QB I ever saw during my time of watching the NFL.
“worst quarterback ever”...
Chuck Long, Detroit Lions
The last person I look to for information on any Quarterbacks ability is a journeyman kicker.. Just sayin..........
There must be a few who’ve never made the playoffs....
Tebow isn’t the worst quarterback ever now, but now that he’s with the Eagles, he will be in time. The Eagles have a way of bringing out the disappointing worst in most players.
