Can't figure out why Jeb Bush is so popular in the poll. This makes no sense to me and I was wondering if there are any Jeb Bush supporters here on FreeRepublic?

As long as the RNC is choosing who we vote for all
we’re going to get is liberal clones. 1989 was the
last year we had a duly elected president. Every president
we’ve had since then have been either liberal or democrat/lite. You want to know who’s actually running this
country look who is funding these frauds. It’s over, our vote
has been compromised and we no longer have a choice. It
should have been obvious when a sitting president gets caught
red handed cheating, using the IRS, FBI, FCC and the FEC to
suppress the voice of his political opponents and is still
in office. They say impeachment is off the table, I say
that’s because the constitution was suspended a long time
ago and they cant.

That’s pretty much my thought progression. In any case, I will crawl over broken glass to vote against any possible Democrat nominee. And I strongly believe that voting for a third party candidate is the same as voting for the Democrat nominee.

Of those who have announced, Jeb Bush is Hillary Clinton's only path to assured victory. Still, there was a FR contingent that lambasted us, and continues to lambaste us, for not supporting pro-gay-marriage, pro-illegal-immigration, pro-universal-healthcare, pro-too-big-to-fail Romney. Some of us still don't get it that not all "republicans" are "conservative" thinkers. But ... they are learning. Just not fast enough.

Hi..my name is BerniesFriend. I guess I could start out by saying that I am a recovering Bushaholic..it was neat in the 80's when Poppa Bush was Reagan's VP..being the war hero..the polite soft spoken man..everyone else was doing it..I wanted to belong..was happy he beat Dukakis in 88..by then I was so hooked, there was no coming back..devastated when he blew a big lead and lost to such a corrupt rapist in 92..when W came around, I saw vengeance and a chance to get back on the high I had in the 80's..sure it was neat at first..wanting to be conservative..but there was too much rove giving in..couldn't get that high like before..now I am off the Bushes..and now they want to tempt me with a third bush..I say no..group hug everyone..
