He’s not having sex with anyone else. He’s never had sex with anyone but his wife. If she’s equally faithful, it’s impossible they would get a STD.

In the context of this article, the husband is using the word “gay” means “a man with an ongoing attraction to other men.” It does not mean “a man who commits sodomy.” Again, look at context.
