Man suffers from 'same sex attraction', but is able to overcome his affliction? Like 'alcoholic gives up booze', or 'drug addict kicks the habit', etc?
If so, sounds like a very good feel-good story. Any sin, and affliction, can be overcome.
If it is something else - (i.e., avowed sodomite continues sinful lifestyle while pretending to be in a marriage relationship with his wife) I will pass.

Maybe if you read the article, you’d realize he has never had a homosexual relationship, only feelings of attraction.

Sorry I do not go to Salon. Besides he identified himself as “gay”. How many adult self-identified “gay” men have not had queer sex? I suspect that number is low to none.
I thought that at first, but near the end of the article the husband in question says that he has never had sex with another male, only that he seems attracted to them. So either she’s not clueless or he is a liar.
So let me get this straight. A man cheating on his wife with another woman is a cad but if he cheats on his wife with a man, it's perfectly acceptable?
He didn’t say if he had extra-marital excursions. BTW, he’s Mormon, and trying to follow his religion, which is why he identifies as homosexual, but married a woman.
It’s probably higher than that, but the fact that he hasn’t had any homosexual experiences probably protected him from experimenting.
Guy is a devout Mormon, so he is gay but didn’t want to get into a homosexual relationship with another man. Instead, he married his best friend, who was a woman, who was informed about his condition before they married.
