The Philadelphia Eagles have signed Tim Tebow to a one-year deal.
The 27-year-old quarterback joins three other signal callers, Sam Bradford, Matt Barkley, and Mark Sanchez, likely competing for three roster spots. The line behind center in Philadelphia may be long. But its not terribly accomplished, allowing Tebow a solid chance to make the team and, unlike his try in New England, to enjoy an opportunity on the field should injuries or ineptitude result from Bradford or Sanchez starting.
Bradford, the top man on the depth chart, endured injuries and struggled to live up to his potential in St. Louis before the Rams traded him for Nick Foles this offseason. Mark Sanchez enjoyed early success in New York before several terrible seasons, including one in which Tebow held the clipboard all season waiting in vain for his chance. Matt Barkley, like Sanchez a USC product, has played in just four NFL games during his two years in the league.

I have the 1960 victory over the Packers and no Dan Marino.
Right now Tebow is competing for the third spot against Matt Barkley. Barkley's been with the Eagles for two years and knows the system. Tebow doesn't. His making the team isn't a given.
Me too.
The fans, no.
But Denver wound up in the SB with the most embarrassing loss ever in its history....................
I would put Superbowl 22 as the most embarassing. When Doug Williams hung 35 points on you in the second quarter? I don't think we'll ever see something that bad in a championship game. And then two years later the 49's beat you by 45 points for your third loss in four Superbowls. That had to hurt, too.
HA HA yeah you got that right
BTW if you look up on you tube there is classic moments about Eagles fans what they do to other teams
Pain?!?!?! You don't know what pain is, I'm a Lions fan.
Well, they didn't trade Nick Folz for Sam Bradford to have him sit on the bench.
So, if Bradford's knee is ready, he will be the started, Sanchez will be the back-up. Tebow might be able to scratch and claw his way onto the team if he can beat out the Eagle's #3 on the depth chart. But that's assuming the Eagles carry three quarterbacks.
More and more teams are going to 2 quarterbacks. If that's the case, Tebow won't make the team unless it's on the taxi squad.
And as we all know, the fans of all the other NFL teams are perfect gentlemen!
Hey I should talk I am raider fan LOL!
