A giant hole in the ground? In Chicago?

It won't take more than 3 replies before some very smart FReeper comes up with the right answer.

An ideal site for the Obama library. Sealed lid mandatory.

Mass grave/polling place so the dead don't have to walk quite as far to vote.

They could always fill it with Rahm Emmanuel’s ego.

Just a hunch but I’m guessing that local politicians will want to fill it with money.

Scuba diving center. They could make it salt water to complement nearby Lake Michigan.

Well hell. Let’s just throw some money doesn’t have taken from people who don’t have it either and can’t afford it to make it a frigging water park, bird house or some such nonsense, huh? What could go wrong in CHICAGO. I mean there’s money to burn there isn’t there? Tables to knife, enemies to quash, unions to satisfy.....

But we can’t forgo all that potential property tax money... the bleat of the government official, fat with his graft, greed, kickbacks, pension and ‘connections’. Think about the ‘citizens’ and how much they could enjoy that frigging hole in the ground if we only spent theirs and their heir’s money!

It is a bargain at half the price. Birds, rainbows and 75 foot deep kiddie pools are what they all are clamoring for.

Just reading the headline was all it took for me. Probably less than one second.
