If youre not ready for the designated hitter to be part of National League baseball, your time to get ready is getting shorter by the day. Its not a matter of if, its a matter of when, and more than that, its a matter of how.

Why?
Do away with the hated DH and simply take the pitcher out of the batting rotation. You shouldn’t do that but its a pretty good compromise between the leagues.
The same Astros that beat the Cy Young winner on Monday, but were almost no-hit yesterday?
Pitchers can’t hit because they don’t make them hit.
Remember, Babe Ruth was a pitcher. He switched to outfielder because HE wanted to play every day.
And before the DH this was accepted as part of the game and all was well with baseball fans. No one complained. It was an accepted part of the game until someone complained or thought that having a DH was a good idea.
If it was such a great idea, why didn’t they introduce it in both leagues at the same time?
Don’t fret. Instant replay is here. Barf.
Bzzzt! Wrong! I checked the rosters and most teams have 12 pitchers with an occasional 11 or 13. The NL does not carry one more pitcher per team than the AL. The DL is split about evenly between infielders and outfielders, so you aren't dumping a relief pitcher to add a DH. You are dumping your utility infielder or extra outfielder.
It’s about time - the only thing good about a picture hitting is that it is always a good time to go get a beer.
The DH is stupid.
How bout every team has the same number of players on the roster as an NFL team and separate the squads into offense and defense?
Why not instead of the 7th inning stretch and “Take me out to the ball game”, the MBA’s running MLB with nothing better to do to justify their MISERABLE existence could instead hire Al Sharpton as a Spokesman and encourage #black lives matter and prayers to Mecca?
I bought a subscription to MLB TV and canceled it within an hour when I was directed to the effin Philippines when I called Customer Service to resolve an Obamacare website type issue with my ROKU box(MLB is outsourcing Customer Service to the Philippines).
Wall Street and the bottom line best enjoy RAPING THE AMERICAN CITIZEN while it lasts.
Tick Tock.
Tigers set an AL record of 24 innings without a run scored against them in an opening series. Another 3 innings and it would have been the MLB record. They did sweep the series and won again today in Cleveland so they’re doing good.
Babe Ruth was a great pitcher.
The leagues should be the same. My preference is to use the DH in both leagues. I prefer baseball games score a lot of runs and am happy that someone like victor Martinez is able to have the opportunity to get hits and knock in runs
I’m sitting at the Braves home opener. The Brave’s starter laid down a perfect sac bunt in the second inning. If you eliminate that sort of thing, you kill much of the interest in the game.
Either way, the average DH is going to have a much larger salary, be a bigger fan attraction, and generate more offense than the 25th man on the roster.
Its all about appealing to people that don’t know squat about baseball. But they buy lots of tickets, beer, and hot dogs. (Sent from my phone at the Angel’s home opener)
Well there’s 1 in the last hundred years but it was a very different game then.
Ba$eball.
14+ hits usually means a win, but the Tribe can try again tomorrow, same time and place.
Nothing like a cold picture of beer.
