That doesn’t make a lick of sense. Just because a person gets a refund doesn’t mean they didn’t pay any taxes.

We got ours in a little over two weeks; filed in February.
However, our taxes are very simple. It could be that people with lots of deductions and complications take longer.
For years now, it has only taken two to three weeks; and we mail it in, we don’t ‘e-file’.

Most with higher incomes know deposit or investment is preferable to loaning it out interest free to the government.
