Appreciate your clairvoyance in this matter...you can tell he is not armed? You can tell there are no place he is running to in order to pick up a weapon? You can tell he did not drop one weapon? You can tell he did not say, “you will be killed cop.”? Thanks for the trial by intuition.
Yes, you can see he does not have a weapon in the video. You can also see the cop coldly shoot him eight times in the back, and then casually walk over and plant a weapon on the victim.
CASE CLOSED.
Read the article, the cops seem to be saying yes, you can see in the video that it was right to charge the cop with murder.
If he dropped a weapon then he didnt have it.
He was running away, his hands are in plain view.
Anyone could be running for a weapon at any time. Should everyone be shot?
Let’s assume for the sake of argument that all of that occurred. How does that change the facts in this case?
The man was running away. Any perceived threat was neutralized after the second shot. He was unable to reach or use any weapons to which he had access. What was the purpose of the subsequent six shots by the officer?
Granted, this was not an episode of Cops, but any episode of Cops provides evidence of what a reasonable officer might do in such a situation. The perp runs; the cops give chase. Even when said officers have been actually assaulted by the perp, they don’t fire eight shots into his back.
Oh, cut it out!
I’m very pro law enforcement. I have been on the side of the cops in every single one of these recent matters, even in the Eric Garner matter.
I can’t see any way in which this officer could claim that his life was in imminent danger at the time he discharged his weapon.
I am still open to hearing his side of the story, but at this point I think he is where he needs to be, and I do think he needs to be facing charges. I also feel very sorry for his pregnant wife and his victim.
Exactly! Maybe the guy was about to car-jack a little old lady. Sounds like was desperate enough.
Laughing AT you, not WITH you. Talk about a sssttttrrrrreeettttcccchhhhh
If you can make a stretch like that, you belong in the NBA
Thanks for the trial by intuition.

I think some people prefer the lynching process.
Thorough investigations and allowing a defense takes too much time.
