What do we know about Jade Helm?
It appears to be a move to intimidate regular Americans

So have absoutely no respect for anyone who makes assumptions about Special Forces without background knowledge.
These exercise are low key and not full of vehicles roaring through with guns blazing. There are occassionally targets that get raided but under strict control so no one gets the wrong idea. In most SF operations if you fire a shot you have most likely failed your mission.
BTW... These exercises have been going on for longer than you have probably been alive. Someone is trying to stir up the s**t with all the publicity. I’ll tell you right no you will not find a more loyal and conservative group of men anywhere. If they were to have to pick “sides” they would be with the people.
I know this because I’ve worked with this esteemed group for for over 30 years.

Maybe they are expecting an invasion from the south into the states these drills are occurring?

Thanks for the sanity. The Special Forces (SF) guys are the the good guys. Alex Jones has been going nuts for the past week over this. I like some of what Alex Jones has to say, but then he'll wander off into Crazytown and start demonizing SF.
I can imagine some Captains and Majors at USASOC that are amazed over the notion that "those Jade Helm Powerpoint slides I did last September are all over the internet and people are going crazy over them."
You fight according to your training.

But the concern is who the leadership will call terrorists? I honestly don’t trust our current leadership that much. Will they call people like Cliven Bundy terrorists? What about Tea Party members? They’ve used the IRS to target people. I would have at one time thought that was unheard of.
Because we ALWAYS believe EVERYTHING the Federal government says, especially one ruled by Bronco Bama!

FR's own Matt Bracken, author extraordinaire, was SF and a Navy Seal, and from what I understand, he disagrees. But I'll let him speak.
What I believe, and it sounds like Matt and other ex-SF corroborate this, is that Jade Helm is WAY over the top for a American-soil military exercise. You cannot deny that these exercises, and blatant violations like Watertown, condition the general American population to accept soldiers moving among them.
I guess we'll find out if the active-duty SF guys are really our "friends", won't we?
I was thinking an invasion far different than the likes of what we have seen.
How do we know these aren’t United Nations ‘blue helmet’ imports? There’s no way to know.
