I know this because I’ve worked with this esteemed group for for over 30 years.

FR's own Matt Bracken, author extraordinaire, was SF and a Navy Seal, and from what I understand, he disagrees. But I'll let him speak.

What I believe, and it sounds like Matt and other ex-SF corroborate this, is that Jade Helm is WAY over the top for a American-soil military exercise. You cannot deny that these exercises, and blatant violations like Watertown, condition the general American population to accept soldiers moving among them.

I guess we'll find out if the active-duty SF guys are really our "friends", won't we?

Travis McGee's trilogy of books (”All Enemies Foreign and Domestic”) are excellent. But note this, while in his books there are a few military types that cave and turn traitor, it is the overwhelming majority of American citizens that embrace the horror.

His Spec Ops and military guys are the resistance—the good guys—not the enemy.
