Which reminds me. It has been a loooong time since Ben Stiller has been in a funny movie. Lately a string of bombs like the utterly BORING Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

I thought that since Steven Banks was one of the writers, it would be funny. I was wrong. No need to watch it, just knowing that it exists makes me ill.

I like looking at Nekkid girls as much as the next guy, but even I’d had enough by the end of that movie. Not a classic, by any stretch.

I walked out of Wolf of Wall Street.I thought that one had hilarious moments like when the time lapse quaaludes kicked in and he had to roll himself down the stairs to get to his car. Then he gets home and is thankful no accidents on the way...until the next day when he is shown his car and it is in reality a wreck.

I’m a huge Tolkien fan. I saw the last Hobbit movie. I have almost no recollection of it at all. Peter Jackson stretched a small book out into about 9 hours of nothing.

The Mrs. and me started watching “Her”...turned it off after about 30 minutes. Then I read it was a “Spike Lee Joint.” Really sucked.

Movies nowdays seem to be a combination of poor scripts, bad acting and lots of NEW whiz-bang special effects.
It seems they are only showing off the latest CGIs and in ten years new CGIs will make these old CGIs look archaic.
A good script with good CGIs is great. That is why I watch so many foreign films.
