Jeremy Clarkson said today he has not 'heard a thing' from the BBC despite claims bosses have already decided to sack him. The corporation's internal investigation has reportedly concluded the star, 54, launched a 30-second physical attack on a Top Gear producer during their steak dinner 'fracas'. Clarkson was suspended two weeks ago for allegedly punching Oisin Tymon in the face when he was offered a plate of cold cuts instead of steak and chips after a long day of filming. Sources have said that the BBC allegedly found Clarkson spent 20 minutes verbally abusing the producer in a luxury North Yorkshire hotel before launching a 30-second physical assault. But Mr Clarkson tweeted today: 'Just to keep everyone up to date, I haven't heard a thing', despite speculation that Lord Hall, the Director General of the BBC, will today announce that he has been fired.

I'd pay good money to have heard that...
I love the show. However he is constantly deriding the US and our customs. One wonders if he could stand working in ,”The Colonies.”. We are so lowbrow and all.
BBC kept known pedophiles on air for decades..but they’re cracking down on temper-tantrums. Jolly good show, eh?
Pair him with Jesse James...JJ is trying to reinvent himself, post Sandra Bullock..
Supposedly, Capt. Slow and the Hamster have stated that they would not do the show without Jezza.
Bring all of it here.
I gotta say I don’t blame him for being pissed. Work all day long and all they could get for dinner was cold cuts. Cmon this guy deserves better than that.
WTF is Jeremy Clarkson?
My thoughts exactly. He’s generally very entertaining. My favorite line of his I heard at least 10 years ago, when he reviewing some completely sumptuous over the top Bentley or Aston-Martin sports car: “The engine sounds like Barry White chewing on wasps”.
He’s one of 3 hosts on the Brit show Top Gear. Very irreverent humor and non PC. All about cars and doing stupid things like racing reasonably priced cars through london. Or taking beat up used cars through the african countryside to find the source of the nile.
Lots of fast cars and goofy humor.
I think he was the first winner of American Idle (sp?).
Does a BBC show aired on BBC America called “Top Gear”. Very popular with car aficionados.
Luv the more historic shows. They bashed a 60s British car that was made by a state owned car company. They got in a lot of shots on communism and socialism.
He derides everything. British humor.
Yeah, that was their British Leyland show in which they tested three BL cars from the 1970s to determine if any of them were at all decent.
I think he was the first winner of American Idle.
Didn’t he win singing the Monkee’s song, Take the Last Train to Clarkson?
I back Clarkson. He beat Piers Morgan down.
