"I think you mean what is his real stance since it may not be the same as he states."-Cripplecreek

Sigh. So frustratingly true.

Donald Trump would be fine but not the ticket I want. Give me Walker/Cruz or Cruz/Walker

The man is a walking, talking absurdity.

I don’t much like Donald, BUT he isn’t afraid to call a thing what it IS!

Or what he thinks it is. The two aren't always the same.

When are people going to get it? Trump has threatened to run for President 6 times. 5 of those times, he was blatantly shilling either a book or his God-awful reality TV show. This is no different. It is just another ploy to keep him in the limelight.
Remember all that birth certificate info he has on Obama? It was guaranteed to get Obama out of office. He teased and teased right up to the start time of his TV show. After that? Nada.

He will muddy the waters of the real conservatives running. It will hurt more than help.

The idea is, he AIN'T afraid of his own shadow like those other guys who are so afraid of the MSM and ‘public opinion’ that they hardly get to the point!

You don't have to agree with Donald to admit that he is not afraid of those guys-THAT’S what we need...someone to tell the MSM where to get off!

Chris Plante (WMAL AM630 WashDC) opined the other day (after appearing on a Late Night Talk Show)

‘since BO has such a ‘thing’ for TV talk shows, we can only hope that he goes on “The Apprentice” so ‘The Donald’ can FIRE HIM’.

(Not direct quote, but close enough)......

Hey, we’ve elected a lot of people who turned out to be con men after they took office. Why not someone who has been a con man all his life going in??

The ring of truth is one of Trump’s trump cards.

***
Yeah, I can still hear the ringing from his claims about Obamugabe’s birth certificate investigation.

Trump is a businessman

Combover boy's "business" is basically:

(1) Cook up a new development using his name. (2) Sell shares to the gullible with money who still think the Trump name is worth something. (3) Cash in and exit stage left before the bottom falls out.

Hey, it's all legal, but I wouldn't shake hands with the guy.

Well if you honestly want to put Trump out there as a serious candidate for the presidency then I'm not going to stop you. I just don't see it.

Right and I don’t see it EITHER... I SAID his being there will keep everyone honest and focused, because he’ll be saying what they won’t and he can shame them into addressing what they’d rather tip toe around.

I think the bigger question is, will he actually go through with it or will it be like his past history? He has cried wolf too many times in the past. It is very difficult (for me) to take him seriously at this point.
He is very good at poking the bear in the political arena and he always has an escape plan. In the past, he has always escaped and had a book, TV show or something that lavished in his newly re-found fame.

I don’t think Donald can win and I don’t really take him seriously.... that said, his focus on things the others WILL NOT address will keep them on their toes!
