GRAND BLANC, MI (WNEM) - A Mid-Michigan Walmart was closed down Wednesday morning because of an odor.
The Grand Blanc Fire Department shut down the S. Saginaw St. store because an odor was causing people to have adverse reactions, city officials said.
The police chief said they responded to a call for a popping noise at the customer service center about 11:30 a.m. People were experiencing difficulty breathing, Fire Chief David Servetter said.
The fire department originally thought the incident was isolated, but upon further investigation they realized it was throughout the entire store. This resulted in the store being evacuated.
The gas detector didn't find anything, but they ventilated the entire store, Servetter said.
The store will remain closed until an environmental company comes in and investigates. They will check the air quality, Servetter said.
Nobody was hospitalized or treated at the scene following the incident.

You don’t know what all we had. That .22 was just a sample of what we had and I was using that as an example of how things were then.
I had a .270 in a scabbard under the seat and a pistol handy, too..
I think you missed the point.

I was about 16 at the time and all of us ranch kids had access to or owned numerous guns.
Yep, he was a good buddy, too.

Nah, I got the ‘point’....
I was ‘spoofing’ the ‘I traded the buddy for’.
Like the old BO walks into the White Hut with a box of chocolates and someone asks what is up and he said
“I got them for Michelle” and the confidant replied, “I know she isn’t worth all that much, but you probably could have held out for a little more”.......
Taboom...Exit Left etc etdc.....
