You don’t know what all we had. That .22 was just a sample of what we had and I was using that as an example of how things were then.
I had a .270 in a scabbard under the seat and a pistol handy, too..
I think you missed the point.
I was about 16 at the time and all of us ranch kids had access to or owned numerous guns.
