According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Eagles coach Chip Kelly has just turned his own personal dont-give-a-damn meter to 11, bringing quarterback Tim Tebow in for a workout.
Hes just messing with us at this point.
The idea of Tebow and Mark Sanchez together again is almost too perfect to put into words. Kelly carries himself with a smartest-guy-in-the-room vibe anyway, but bringing in a guy the rest of the NFL had given up on speaks to a bit of hubris.
Could Tebow run the Eagles system, considering his roots running a spread offense at Florida? Sure. Maybe. Who knows?

Yes, anyone bad mouthing Tebow’s football abilities must be anti-Christian.
Two words: Russell Wilson - you know, the guy who has a SB ring, and but for an idiot call would have 2.
Oh, he’s 5’11” and a bit over 200 pounds.
Sometimes folks take the Christian persecution thing to absurd levels, and you have provided us with a prime example.
Tebow excelled at the college level. Go back and do some research on can’t miss qbs who were entirely incapable of playing at the pro level. Tebow isn’t even the first Heismann winner to wash out at the pro level.
The fact is teams (especially defenses) that avoid the injury bug generally do improve over the course of the season. More reps together means more understanding how the rest of your team will react to the situation, means more being in the right place. The QB, especially not a QB that can’t complete passes and stay on the field, doesn’t make the defense play better.
Tebow’s success was due to a 53 man roster. Orton would have been at least as successful, but the Tebow cultists were demanding Tebow, so they sat Orton. It’s the people that have been blowing smoke up Tebow’s rear-end his whole career that have really damaged him. It’s been known since his sophomore year in college that he needed a lot of work to make it in the NFL, but a crowd of people saw that cross around his neck and started telling him the critics were wrong, so he didn’t do the work, he didn’t make the changes, and now he’s been reviewed by his 5th NFL coach and he still doesn’t have a job.
The critics were right, the cultists were wrong. He’s just plain not that good. the body of work shows it.
And during his time he sucked so much he did not play. With the Pats he sucked enough not be able to be a third back up.
The NFL coaches do not care about his personal life or his beliefs. They care about winning.
Clearly, the “ vote” has been taken.
Go dream about him riding a white charger saving Christians all over the world. Dream about his running in to save his team for the Super Bowl. Dream about whatever you want.
Him playing full time in the NFL again is just that. A Dream.
Where have I referenced Tebow being a christian?
Why do you find it necessary to go after me?
Twitterverse saying Eagles are interested in Tebow as a 3rd string QB if they can trade Matt Barkley.
