Obama can run for anything he wants, but electors must be verified at the state level, and then, the results of the election have to be certified by the House of Representatives. Then the Chief Justice has to swear in the president. Lots of safeguards.

Obama running for a third term is just a doomsday fantasy that sprung up on the internet, but has no roots in reality. Aint gonna happen.

That is the one of many points I addressed.

He, and as it seems, is not alone in thinking that 0bama will just simply ignore the constitution and press forward.

I can’t imagine that this scenario would come to be, however, my Step Father’s contention is that there is nothing to stop him.

This is the debate.

Hi, I replied earlier that the electoral college and the Senate would stop it. I thought it was only the Senate that has to certify the electoral votes, but after doing some research I found that it was both the House and Senate, Congress, that certifies the electoral votes.

When you consider the legal obstacles along with the fact that Obama doesn’t like to work, only campaign, there is no way a third term is in the works. Unless the wife or VJ show up as the savior.
