In addition, daily aches, pains and health concerns trouble most older people so that they have a very difficult time concentrating on the ‘problems of the world’. With all of the outrage that I read on FR then why have the people not ‘risen up’ already? There are very few conservative activists on FR. Yes, there are a few conservative activists on FR but very few. With as many ‘members’ that FR has, do you think that there should me many more activists who actually go out into the community to make a difference? However, I again say that people’s ages limit their participation. For example, I cannot walk a city block without gasping for air. IF I would try to be active then I would actually be a detriment, wouldn’t I?

The only thing preventing a third term is obama’s failure to keep his supporters happy. He promised utopia and delivered nothing. Now if he were to deliver quickly on a big promise, such as the banning of private ownership of guns and ammo, the liberals and MSM would sweep him into office. Add a little civil war on the part of conservatives, and it would just make him even more popular since it would be touted by the MSM as a race war.
The biggest flaw in your step-dad’s argument: He presumes 0bama actually *wants* the job. He clearly doesn’t.
This is all just my opinion and the way I see it. 0bama is a slacker of the highest order. He’s never had to *really* work for anything in his entire life until he ran for President and he does not like it one bit.
He flees the White Hut at any opportunity: Golf, Vacation... heck, he even prefers fund raising over his official responsibilities.

Also, not even Dems or the MSM would tolerate such a flagrant, treasonous violation of the Constitution. How would they defend it? They have already started running out of excuses trying to cover for him and some have even started turning on him as well.
The final backstop would be the states. Which states would certify him on their official ballot as a Constitutionally valid candidate? And presuming any would (they won’t, they can’t), it would not be enough to garner the electoral votes needed.
I can conceive of no false-flag operation, terrorist attack, or world war III that would prompt the citizens of the country to suddenly agree, “Yes! Let’s toss 200 years of codified electoral procedure and violate the constitution!”

Executive Order can not nullify any articles or amendments of the U.S. Constitution..........ESPECIALLY when it comes to a third term of a seated president..............That's pretty well defined.

Somewhere down thread someone brings up the point that Secretaries of State will not allow him on the ballot in very many states. In addition, he would lose simply due to that fact in many of the states that did. Only super-solid blue states would vote for him, and even in many of those, the alternate Democrat nominee would be able to get on the ballot thus splitting the Dem vote. That would assure that the GOPer, whoever that is, will win the presidency.
There is no reason to fear that type of coup.
Supreme Court involvement would not be needed, but not even Ginsberg would vote with Zero in such a case.
