The biggest flaw in your step-dad’s argument: He presumes 0bama actually *wants* the job. He clearly doesn’t.
This is all just my opinion and the way I see it. 0bama is a slacker of the highest order. He’s never had to *really* work for anything in his entire life until he ran for President and he does not like it one bit.
He flees the White Hut at any opportunity: Golf, Vacation... heck, he even prefers fund raising over his official responsibilities.
Once the next President is elected, no matter who that may be, at the very moment 0bama gets the official signal that he is clear to leave, I bet all you will see is a cloud of dust about waist high where 0bama was standing a split second ago. He will be gone like a shot and won’t be looking back. He has some graft... er... demoncrap sponsored cush-job(s) lined up where his only responsibilities will be to appear before his adoring fans, play golf and get paid an obscene amount of money while doing it. He will be beyond the reach of conservatives, and any MSM who might ask him even mildly tough questions. He will be back in his “world” where everything goes his way and no one questions him.
There will be no 0bama “nth” term because he desperately, desperately does not want one. He quit caring awhile ago and is hanging on now only because he *has* to and moreso because he is surrounded by sycophants who work their asses off daily to keep him motivated and going. Without them, he’d probably wouldn’t bother getting out of bed until after 10 each day...
Also, not even Dems or the MSM would tolerate such a flagrant, treasonous violation of the Constitution. How would they defend it? They have already started running out of excuses trying to cover for him and some have even started turning on him as well.
The final backstop would be the states. Which states would certify him on their official ballot as a Constitutionally valid candidate? And presuming any would (they won’t, they can’t), it would not be enough to garner the electoral votes needed.
I can conceive of no false-flag operation, terrorist attack, or world war III that would prompt the citizens of the country to suddenly agree, “Yes! Let’s toss 200 years of codified electoral procedure and violate the constitution!”
Here’s something you could tell your Step-Dad: Why would 0bama want to be an unconstitutional president with a target on his back aimed at by GOP, DEMS, MSM, you, me, Mr. Damm, Mrs. Damm and the whole Damm family -WHEN- he could (potentially) shake off the shackles of the presidency and play a more darker & sinister role behind the scenes, out of the spotlight, influencing/power-brokering at a pay-rate several orders of magnitude higher?
