Who says you cant make money off religion, even if you arent a believer yourself? After all, isnt that what some of the most famous Evangelical Christians do?
You might think that an atheist selling Bibles is a contradiction in terms, and definitely an oxymoron, and you might be right. However, that hasnt stopped Trevor McKendrick from making $100,000 a year selling the Word of God.
The whole Bible-selling thing all started for Trevor back in February 2012 when he was out for dinner with his family and learned that a relative of his was making $8,000 to $10,000 a month just by selling iPhone apps.

For an hour’s a day of work?
That’s not bad.
I need to get together with a techie. I have ALL KINDS of ideas but no way to implement them.
Shades of Big Dan Teague.
He might just build up the Christian faith. Maybe at some time he will reflect on his new found wealth and consider thanks are in order.
Everybody pray for this guy!!!;)
Way back when in college a professor was telling us engineers that. You are the ones coming up with the ideas. Get some kid to figure out the code for you.
My first boss out of college had that attitude. Had some punk kid in junior high come in and work on making programs for our brand new Tandy’s.
The kid was learning how to fly and figured out the small airports had issues with scheduling, etc. He developed some software for them that included all sorts of stuff with regard to scheduling flights, training, billing, fuel, maintence, etc. (Those he came up with on his own).
I wonder if my old boss remembers his name? He was working on hooking up electrodes to his head to get the computer to respond to his thoughts. This was 30 years ago - I thought he was a bit nuts. A genius - but nuts too.
this doesn’t make sense, because there are quite a few bible apps available for free.
God does work in mysterious ways...
“He then found some SPANISH (emphasis added) Bible apps that were not good quality. After hiring a Romanian programmer to build a better app for him, he began selling the new product.
He added to the app by including an audio version which took off, generating a cool $5,000 to $6,000 per month.”
Sort of a “build a better mouse trap” sales phenomena, I suppose.
#8 Was it Bill Jobs? Steve Gates? : )
I bet that Romanian programmer is ticked off!
Sounds like a variant of the ‘prosperity gospel’ Creflo $$
