According to new research from the University of Roskilde, Danish women have streamed into Denmark’s largest cities over the past 25 years while men have stayed put in more rural areas.
The phenomenon is seen most clearly in the capital. In the Greater Copenhagen area, there are now 10,000 more single women between the ages of 18-48 than single men in the same age group.
Throughout most of Jutland on the other hand, single men outnumber the women.
“The imbalance is grown sharply so that there are more single women in the big cities at the same time that there has been an increase in the number of single men in the rural areas,” Roskilde University professor Rasmus Ole Rasmussen told Metroxpress.
Rasmussen said that the disparity in the number of single men and women threatens to further drive down Denmark’s sagging birth rates.
“The challenge that comes with more and more people living alone is that we have fewer children if we don’t begin to import women from other countries,” he said.

This is becoming a big demographic problem in the West. Formerly the issue with declining birth rates was postponement of marriage and childbearing. Now, increasing numbers of adults never enter into a permanent relationship and have no children. Birthrates continue to plummet. Demographically, the West is in a death spiral and in Europe that means ever increasing percentages of Muslims in the population. The West won’t be conquered, it will go with a whimper.
Had a buddy in the Corps that went to embassy school and spent three years there as an embassy guard.

Sounds like Copenhagen is a good place to live if you are a guy.
I have a friend who was born and raised in Pensacola. He told me it was rough finding girls as there was always a new crop of young officers available.
Despite that he seemed to have no trouble with the girls. He always was dating a beautiful girl. He married a model.
They have a problem with declining birth rates, I will volunteer my services.
A very big concern. Western Civilization has enough things to fight. We don't need a low birth rate. C'mon people, think the big picture and long term. We definitely won't survive if we don't reproduce!
For a variety of reasons urban areas tend to be more female than non urban areas. This happens in many countries.
I’m not impressed. Can they cook? Do they bitch all the time?
