I remember the news footage of Selma, the firehoses, billy-clubs, and police dogs.
To equate the epic struggle of Black Americans to obtain equal rights with the whining of spoiled homosexuals demanding that we celebrate their unnatural and unhealthy lifestyle choice is a real insult to Black America. Why can’t they see this?

There was some, but here's the difference: In Selma, the cops were attacking peaceful demonstrators. In the Stonewall Riots (NYC) and the White Night Riots (SF), the cops were responding to rioters.

It’s famous. Market street was 3 feet deep in blood. It was running down into the BART stations. Turned out it was those white Christian men who did it. Sad. But Obama will, I’m sure, educate all of us about it in coming months.
