Warner Brothers flew her out to Hollywood and provided the dress and accessories.

“I didn’t think I had the energy to show up at the Oscars, let alone be presentable,” wrote Kyle. “So, I find myself in a surreal position…like Cinderella who scrubs the floors but has a fairy Godmother (Warner Brothers) who got me on a plane and had a dress and jewelry and even the shoes and spanx waiting for me.”

My back is turned to the TV right now since I had to deal with an rather involved e-mail so I only heard Lady Gaga and didn't her until toward the end (with the tattoos). It was quite a good performance and faithful to the musical score.

Hopefully Gaga will put behind that part of her career of being a freak, her days of big hits are over anyway. Don’t be like Madonna and try to be relevant, and fail miserably at it.
