On March 4 the U.S. Supreme Court will hear King v. Burwell, the case challenging health insurance-premium subsidies for those who buy their insurance on the 37 federal exchanges.
(...)
First, Congress could extend the subsidies until the end of 2015, and allow people to keep those subsidies that they have already received. This would avoid disruption in health care and in insurance markets, whose terms are set months ahead.
Second, Congress could create a new temporary state-based option for continued health insurance coverage beginning in 2016 until it could craft a long-term solution.

REPEAL!
Repeal it in full. Replace it with NOTHING. To hell with any “disruption” to the health care system. LIBERTY should prevail!
Now, what do I win?
But that irony is lost completely on the GOPe.
KILL THE BILL!!!
“... extend the subsidies”
Illegal subsides can not be extended.
Who writes this stuff?
The Fiscal Times “content partners include The Washington Post, Yahoo Finance and Yahoo News, CNBC, MSN Money, Bloomberg, 24/7 Wall Street, Kaiser Health News, and others.” Kaiser - that explains it.
Here is my prediction: BO will veto anything short of total capitulation and a sufficient number of the GOP will back down out of fear of being called “racist.”
On March 4 the U.S. Supreme Court will hear King v. Burwell,
Are we sure about the March 4??????
"3 Options for Congress If Court Kills Obamacare Subsidies"
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponents Argument
Since the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate, tax and spend for intrastate healthcare purposes, Congress actually has only one constitutional option regardless what activist justices decide about Obamacare in King v. Burwell.
Congress needs to respect its oath to protect and defend the Constitution by proposing a healthcare amendment to the Constitution to the states as required by the Constitutions Article V. And if the states choose to ratify the amendment then Congress will actually have the constitutional authority that it needs to establish a national healthcare plan and Congress will be a hero.
In the meanwhile, there is nothing stopping the states from establishing their own healthcare programs, RomneyCare a rough example.
They are the mouthpieces of Congress.
So, you better believe the Marxist Republicrat piggies on the Hill will reach down deep, pull up their suspenders, and “save the day”.
“On March 4, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in King v. Burwell, a challenge to an IRS ruling related to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) granting premium support subsidies to those enrolled in federal exchanges. While claims that a ruling in favor of King would disrupt coverage to millions,[1] it is important to recognize that the ultimate source of any dislocation would be a direct result of the ACAs fundamental design flaws.”

They can if congress passes the law and bozo signs it.
That would be “implement”, not “extend”.
Depends on the definition of extend.
Hey, your screen-name “is” apropos ;)
The case will be heard in March but the decision is expected to be announced in June.
Are we sure about the March 4??????
The case will be heard in March.
The court's decision will not be known until June.
Have no fear. Johnny Roberts will rule that the government and the state are the same thing. Everything will stay as it is and Johnny gets to stay up with the big boys.
“Here is my prediction: BO will veto anything short of total capitulation and a sufficient number of the GOP will back down out of fear of being called “racist.”
Now, what do I win?”
I predict your prediction is spot in.
And your winnings include an increasingly fascist government, a country on the brink of economic collapse, and a mass of sheeple that don’t care until it is too late.
Enjoy!
March 4 is when arguments begin, with the decision handed down in June.
March 3 Netanyahu addresses Congress. That will be a fun week.
