All I know is, my cholesterol is under control with medication and I do need to lose some weight. Even so, my cardiologist told me that going vegan or vegetarian would be a waste of time, low fat (lean meats, fish, poultry), low carbs is the sensible way to go.

All I know is, my cholesterol is under control with medication and I do need to lose some weight.Which is why most vegans go vegan in the first place. If you stop consuming cholesterol.... Makes sense , right?

I’ve lost nearly 30 lbs going on a low-carb, high fat/protein diet, with smaller portions used because I don’t get cravings between meals. My cholesterol was taken a month ago...unchanged.
