This week, we sat down with Lierre Keith, author of "The Vegetarian Myth" to learn about why Vegans are wrong. She can be found at http://www.lierrekeith.com/
“You can get over grains.”
Best Jerry Seinfeld voice: no,i don’t think I can.
Not trying to be argumentative, but when i was a little kid and I’d hear: we’ll throw you in the dungeon and you’ll have nothing but bread and water I’d think: OK, what’s the problem?
Of course, like the king in the nursery rhyme I like a bit of butter for my bread, and I wasn’t sure I was going to get that in the dungeon.
Just out of curiosity, how do vegetarians in India survive without meat? How do they get all their vitamins and nutrients?
How many vegans do you know, and what are your qualifications to diagnose them as mentally ill ?
Which is why most vegans go vegan in the first place. If you stop consuming cholesterol.... Makes sense , right?
B12 actually comes from the soil.
Ingested cholesterol is only remotely related to serum cholesterol. Even if you eat none, the liver manufactures it.
The liver manufactures the cholesterol the body needs. Diet contributes to the rest.
how is rejecting veganism original thinking? What is that, a minority opinion?
Paul’s lefty friends and family thank you for using your money to support their lefty causes by purchasing his salad dressing. Check it out: http://newmansownfoundation.org/what-we-support/focus-areas/
Are you serious? y
You watched that 37 minute interview and then concluded that I thought that someone simply rejecting being a vegan, was an original thinker?
Did you watch the interview with this author?
Thanks for the link, I know PN was a lefty. But I didn’t see any baby killing or anti-white stuff over there, so I’ll still be buying the products.
You think that people go vegan mostly to lower cholesterol and lose weight?
I don’t think so, at least not in my personal experience of living among many of them.

“B12 actually comes from the soil.”
100% WRONG! B-12 in the soil is essentially non-delectable and is there only if it’s been fixed by bacteria AND plants DO NOT absorb B-12 from the soil. No plant material provides ANY B-12. Period.
This discussion has been about VEGANS, not VEGETARIANS. There’s a big difference. VEGANS eat no animal-derived products. VEGETARIANS eat a variety of animal-derived products such as milk and eggs, and often shellfish, and even fish. All of the latter contain B-12. Plants contain NO B-12.
Vegans are overwhelmingly females and easily the biggest reason for doing it is about their feelings that animals should not be eaten.
“As other researchers have reported (link is external) about vegetarians, our participants originally quit meat for a variety of reasons. The most common reasons in our study were ethical concerns about the treatment of animals (57%), followed by health and environmental reasons (15% each). “
As I learned dating young females in Southern California, vegetarians often eat fast food hamburgers, and fish, chicken, and all kinds of animals, since many of them are totally confused about what a vegetarian is.
